Oh how awesome the internet is, right? First invented to set us all free from simple bounds and really what is the internet? To some people it is strictly a business tool, a marketing agent and it does great for that. What better to get your product out to millions of people without doing any actual work but a few mouse clicks!

But now let’s really think, what is the internet? A place for people to meet and communicate? Sure it can be that. I mean with the mass amounts of social networking available why not? I am guilty of this as well having a Facebook that I frequent and Twitter account that I also update with random bullshit that spews out of my mind. But you could also throw out the things that are broadcasted on TV like eHarmony, Ancestry, etc. Sure it’s great and yeah people use the internet in a ton of ways for multiple reasons! But REALLY… What is the internet?

Now I know some people are just waiting for me to say it and trust me, I will not let any of you down! What kind of blogger do you take me for? The internet, probably the greatest piece of, dare I say technology the world has yet to see for it’s just sheer span of accessable knowledge within a few clicks and what the fuck do people use it for? Nothing more than updating statuses, playing shit games like Farmville and I mean if you enjoy spending your days off, or if you aren’t going to school or working, every day just virtually farming and letting everyone know that, probably a more common update I am sure we all have seen time and time again, regardless of the moaning and bitching emotional rants, “Getting drunk” updates… Hey, it’s your life by all means.

Now I know some friends are going to read this and go “But Nick! You update your status on Facebook and Twitter. You’re being a hypocrite!” and you know, you are probably right but I am just one player in this chess game and I try to at least not rant and bitch on Facebook in my updates like some child or throw out the “Getting drunk” updates like I am some frat boy Neanderthal. I am more mature and I try to hold myself above the rest of people because in my mind I am usually a lot better. (Sorry people, I’m just being honest. Call it ego if you want too.)

But if that isn’t enough! We have broken down this wonderful piece of knowledge into something that we use to breakdown the Kings English into something that …Well, a Neanderthal would speak with the amount of acronyms that are now used. It’s always “Lol” this, “lmfao” that. But let’s jump one step further, the one thing the internet is used most for? Pornography. (I finally said it, I told you I wouldn’t let you down.) We use the worlds greatest piece of knowledge that anyone can access anywhere in the bloody world with the Internet sticks, Smartphones, WiFi offered at nearly every bloody Starbucks and other Cafe’s in the world… To look up whatever your sick twisted fetish your mind can come up with.

We meet and talk to people in real life and we don’t say “Oh Em Gee, That was like, totally El Oh El!” …If you said that near me I would break your damn jaw. The internet has turned into a place where it’s just seemingly stupid people talking to other stupid people. But now before I get raped like a Choir boy or something here for the things I’ve said. Don’t get me wrong; I am adding to the flame by even blogging like I do, having a Facebook page and I admit it. I just try to be smarter than the rest. I love the internet and it’s been great to me. It did after all let me meet some interesting people and naturally, the person I am engaged too. So I can’t say I hate the internet and this post by any means is meant to portray that… It’s just meant to let the people know that I hate most of the people on the internet.

P.S. If you’re curious to what inspired me to write this up and why I am using this blog for it instead of my personal one? There was a girl that came into where I work and actually said “El Oh El” …It hit a nerve. Also, it just felt right here. Ciao.

For now I am located in Kelowna, BC, Canada. (For those too lazy to google a map it is in the West Coast of Canada about four hours from Vancouver.) Kelowna is basically a vacation spot or a retirement town. It’s growing a lot and we are getting some fantastic things here but in the end it holds people and to be blunt, people are idiots and have a tendency to ruin a good thing that this town could potentially be. Such a shame…

To give a small example of some of the bigger places I have visited for a period of time, even if only a couple of hours… Banff, Alberta. Calgary, Alberta. Medicine Hat, Alberta. Brandon, Manitoba. Winnipeg, Manitoba. Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Regina, Saskatchewan, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Sudbury, Ontario. Thunder Bay, Ontario. Toronto, Ontario. – And of course, a wonderful selection of places all through British Columbia as expected because… Well, I live here. So let’s move into the States and I won’t add the states since most people can or will know just by the name…

New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, Dover, Chicago, Minneapolis, Billings, Miles City, Bismarck, Fargo, Steele, Jackson (NJ), Newark, Binghamton, Buffalo, Syracuse, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Hampton (VA), Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Richmond, Moses Lake, Seattle, Spokane, Milwaukee… For a small example of a few I’ve been through and around in.

So now as I have stated this will be based around my experiences and general things… But as you can imagine by the title of this blog. None of them will be exactly good. I mean some cities I can’t say anything bad about! But I will also be pointing out things that are bad about people and just.. Basically anything I can and I feel I should bitch about to be blunt.

So expect some updates pretty regular as I am working in a mall as a Sale Associate and I have to deal with people.  So it’ll be something I think a few people should be able to relate too and understand… Anyhow, update coming soon.
